Colonic Hydrotherapy may not be suitable if the following conditions are present:
- Cancer of the colon or rectum
- Recent surgery to the abdominal area
- Active inflammatory bowel conditions such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or diverticulitis
- Uncontrolled hypertention (high blood pressure)
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Conjestive heart disease
- Severe liver disease (cirrhosis)
- Severe haemorrhoids, fistulas and fissures
- Hernia
- 1st trimester of pregnancy
